A Few Words About Green Massage therapy

Green Massage Therapy is run by Helen Greensmith, who is a Chartered Physiotherapist and fully qualified massage therapist. Helen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Physiotherapy from Plymouth University and graduated with distinction from the School of Bodywork in Exeter. Helen is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).Also trained in Western Medical Acupuncture, Helen is a full member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Helen has trained in clinical Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute so can provide one to one Pilates sessions.

Over ten years experience working with professional sports clubs including Grimsby Town Football Club and Plymouth Raiders Basketball team. She also has considerable experience in the NHS working with a vast array of patient types in a varying a range of settings including orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. Helen now works in private practise and specialises in treating and rehabilitating injuries of all kinds as well as sports injury prevention. Physiotherapy treatments can include sports and remedial massage, mobilisations, manipulations, acupuncture, clinical pilates, ultrasound therapy and taping (kinesiology and rigid). Treatment continues at home as Helen will advise on exercises to continue your recovery and allow you to get on with your life. She is fully committed to the highest standards of professionalism and ethicacy.
